Airports Authority of India Eastern Region conducts Annual Sports meet at Kolkata


After inauguration, the program followed by events like Passing the Ball, Flat Race, Balance Race, Pick up the ball, Shot-put, Javelin Throw, Discus Throw, Musical Station, Tug of War etc. for different age groups.

Airports Authority of India, Regional Sports Control Board (RSCB), Eastern Region, organised Annual Sports Meet on 23.02.2018 and 24.02.2018 for employees and their family members, at AAI Sports Complex, New Quarters, Kolkata.

The event was inaugurated by Sh. Harbir Singh, General Manager (Human Resource) and Acting Regional Executive Director (ER).

The program started with the lighting of the traditional lamp, RSCB-ER-flag hoisting, and releasing tri-colour balloons in the sky. During his inaugural speech, he emphasised on the importance of sports.  

After inauguration, the program followed by many sports events like Passing the Ball, Flat Race, Balance Race, Pick up the ball, Shot-put, Javelin Throw, Discus Throw, Musical Station, Tug of War etc. for different age groups. The day culminated in prize distribution ceremony.
